My daughter has been a participant in C-HOPE since she graduated from high school.C- HOPE helped fill the void of leaving the structure, security and familiarity of the high school setting. She has formed new friendships with the other participants and the volunteers and looks forward to the weekly meetings. When one session ends she wants to know when the next one will start again!
C-HOPE is a wonderful program. It is a lot more than I thought it would be. The programs that are put together for these young adults are geared to making them as successful as possible. The social piece that these kids get there is wonderful. C-HOPE continues to look for different ways to help these kids and the people who created this program are truly inspiring. We are so glad to be a part of this program.
I love going to C-HOPE. It is a lot of fun hanging out with friends, making crafts and playing games. The volunteers are so nice. I also go bowling with the C-HOPE group and it is the best! I like when we go help in nursing homes and work at the market, too.
It has been three years since I started going to all of the C-HOPE programs. On the first night of C-HOPE I was nervous about meeting new friends. After a couple of sessions, I became more comfortable because I made friends with people who like to laugh and have fun. I like the opening social activity and I like to make the wine charms, but my favorite thing was going to the glass studio to make two glass projects! I like to be out in the community with C-HOPE because I like fresh air and meeting new people and their dogs. I think C-HOPE Is Fun!
I enjoy C-HOPE because everybody is so much fun. They make me laugh. I really like to hand out name tags to everyone and play a game at the end and eat my face off with snacks. I get to meet new people and work with them all the time. I look forward to going to C-HOPE on Mondays.
I like how we meet and we all get along. Everyone seems happy. The volunteers seem happy too.
